Country music star Chris Cagle and his girlfriend were arrested on domestic assault charges on Wednesday.
They were taken to a Nashville jail following their arrest.
Apparently the two were drinking at a local bar when an argument turned physical.

Reports state that Cagle’s girlfriend, 29-year old Jennifer Tant hit Cagle in the head with an umbrella once they returned to their apartment around 5 a.m.
The 39-year old Cagle then hit her with a purse.
Cagle stated to police that he wanted his girlfriend out of his life.
Tant had a scrape on her upper left life and a sore arm from the fight.
Cagle had a bump on the right side of his head.
